Liz has been nursing since 1995 and has been trained in Colonic Hydrotherapy at the British College of Colon Hydrotherapists, passing with distinction. Following a search for help with colon associated difficulties she discovered colonic hydrotherapy and from that point has not looked back, this spurred on her career change to be able to offer similar benefits.

She recognises the importance of a healthy, well functioning colon and the prevalence of IBS in today’s society and therefore offers this treatment within the Birmingham area.

Some of the conditions that can benefit from Colonic Hydrotherapy treatment are:

COLONIC HYDROTHERAPY

Colonic Hydrotherapy and Colonic Irrigation by Liz Brett - Colonic Hydrotherapist

Is a practice dating back to early Egypt (1500 BC), colonic hydrotherapy / irrigation is a safe and effective method for cleansing the colon of waste material by repeated gentle flushing with purified water. Exercising and toning the bowel thus aiding the evacuation of waste both during and after treatment and helping to reduce the toxic load upon the body.

Toxic waste from material that has remained in the colon for some time (impacted faeces, dead cellular tissue, accumulated mucous, parasites, worms, etc), can re-enter and circulate the blood stream making us feel ill, tired or weak. Impacted material also impairs the colons ability to assimilate minerals and bacteria produced vitamins. The build up on the colon wall can inhibit muscular action causing sluggish bowel movements and constipation.

Common signs of toxic build up of material on the colon wall can include:

  • Headaches
  • Constipation
  • Fatigue
  • Bad Breath
  • Body Odour
  • Gas
  • Irritability
  • Skin Problems
  • Bloating
  • Diarrhoea
